A summary of considerations for IB schools creating the organisation chart required for evaluation, as well as looking to enhance their leadership structure, positions of responsibility and designated roles. In the accompanying webinar (slides included) we discussed IB requirements, teacher support, PD requirements, and how to mitigate these costs while also looking for teachers without IB experience who have the potential to be amazing in the programme.

I outline how two calendars can bring order and wellbeing to the IB DP/CP coordinator, students and teachers. In a recent webinar, we discussed how to co-create an effective assessment calendar with teachers, how to create a mindset of 'cementing' dates and sticking to them, and how to use a well-spread assessment calendar to shape a culture of assessment to drive growth and learning. We also shared sample calendars, and looked at a coordinator's annual calendar to cover all the big tasks.

This "Design Shapes & Spaces" unit is designed to explore scenography as a crucial element of theatre, empowering students to understand its role in shaping storytelling. It directly aligns with the DP Theatre course, particularly the PP and STP. The unit introduces the concept of scenography as a collaborator, and practically explores shape, space, light, and objects. Students engage in hands-on activities, developing knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding of theatre design.
